Who is Bronwyn?

My mission is to connect people with nature for the wellbeing of people AND the planet.

My passion is to inspire and support occupational therapists to incorporate nature into their professional practice, and to create a global connected community of NatureOTs.

I have worked as an occupational therapist in Australia since 1993, am a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs and hold a GraduateCertificate in Permaculture Design and Diplomas in Work Health Safety and Project Management.

BUT it’s not the qualifications and certificates that bring me to this work – it is my deep conviction, lived experience and ‘knowing’ of the benefits of being in nature for our wellbeing. My experience in the last few years in intentionally learning about and experiencing nature connection in many different ways has transformed my life and personal wellbeing as well as my practice as an occupational therapist. I want to share this opportunity and potential with my profession.
