What people are saying…
"I really appreciate all the work Bronwyn has done putting together resources to increase working with nature in therapy practice for the benefit of our clients. As well as practical information about this type of work and the relevant research. Bronwyn does a great job of examining where nature based work 'fits' into OT practice and looking at related models'"
~ Madeleine Flynn (Australia)

Nature OT Mini Course
Meet Bronwyn
I’ve worked as an occupational therapist (OT) since 1993 in Australia. I’ve never worked in the health system and I’m passionate about innovation in occupational therapy with a focus on wellbeing. In addition to occupational therapy I hold qualifications in workplace health and safety & project management (but the certificates are not what really matters).
A self- diagnosed workaholic (and perfectionist), I’ve always given a LOT of energy to my work, often at the expense of my physical and mental health.
Efforts to actively connect with my core values led me to post graduate education in permaculture design and training in Forest & Nature Therapy guiding.
I’ve created a unique blend of occupational therapy, permaculture and nature therapy as the basis for my business Nature OT Pty Ltd.
I have presented about nature based occupational therapy at national occupational therapy and social work conferences in Australia, the OT Entrepreneur Summit (on-line as the only Australian speaker), as an invited keynote speaker for the Moroccan OT Association conference, guest lecturer at Deakin University (Austraia) and invited author for 3 book chapters about nature based occupational therapy. I've also had great fun as a podcast guest on OT and wellbeing focused podcasts.
I’m passionate about supporting OTs (in all settings) to work with nature so you can create a way to work that supports your own wellbeing as well as that of your clients and the planet!
I've directly worked with over 111 OTs from 12 countries in creating nature based ways of working - programs, services and businesses. I’ve held a role as a mentor in a Forest & Nature Therapy guide program and am a volunteer Board member for the organisation Outdoor Health Australia (formerly Australian Association of Bush Adventure Therapy).
Join me in this online Nature OT Mini Course to learn and explore how YOU could include more nature in your work, and become a 'NatureOT' to really make a difference for your clients and community and fall in love with occupational therapy again.
