Who is Bronwyn?
Iāve worked as an occupational therapist (OT) since 1993 in Australia. Iāve never worked in the health system and Iām passionate about innovation in occupational therapy with a focus on wellbeing. In addition to occupational therapy I hold qualifications in workplace health and safety & project management (but the certificates are not what really matters).
A self- diagnosed workaholic (and perfectionist), Iāve always given a LOT of energy to my work, often at the expense of my physical and mental health.
Connecting with my core values led me to post graduate education in permaculture design and training in Forest & Nature Therapy guiding.Ā
Iāve created a unique blend of occupational therapy, permaculture and nature therapy as the basis for my business Nature OT Pty Ltd.
I have presented about nature based occupational therapy at national occupational therapy and social work conferences in Australia, as an invited Hot Topic presenter by OT Australia, at the OT Entrepreneur Summit (on-line as the only Australian speaker) and as a podcast guest on OT and wellbeing focused podcasts.Ā
Iām passionate about supporting OTs (in all settings and with clients of all ages) toĀ partner with nature so you can create a way to work that supports your own wellbeing as well as that of your clients and the planet!Ā Ā
I've directly worked with 112 OTs from 12 countries in creating nature based ways of working - programs, services and businesses. Iāve held a role as a mentor in a Forest & Nature Therapy guide program and amĀ a voluntary Board memberĀ for Outdoor Health Australia.
